Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Previous caregiving or senior living experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining and daily living activities.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safety practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes and report concerns promptly.
• Document resident care and services accurately.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention and safety requirements.
• Participate in meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, homelike environment and build relationships with residents and families.
