Job summary

Heritage Senior Living is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our Deer Creek team in Milwaukee, WI. You will provide personalized care to residents, supporting independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. CNA certification is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes and report concerns promptly.
• Document resident care and services accurately.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Help maintain a safe, homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
