Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to deliver quality daily living support in Waldorf, MD. You will assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, and responsive care, while following policies and reporting incidents as needed.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and complete an approved PCA program. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and housekeeping tasks.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies promptly.
• Plan and participate in activity programs for residents.
• Support residents during meals, appointments, and transfers.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow supervisor instructions.
