Job summary

People Incorporated in Massachusetts seeks Direct Care Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting and provide daily living assistance. Openings are in Mansfield, Taunton and Fall River with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

Responsibilities include aiding daily activities, meal prep, personal care, and coordinating community outings, while maintaining a structured routine and monitoring medical appointments.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts CNA License.
• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• A TB screening and physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years.

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
• Provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine.
• Coordinate individual community outings to integrate residents into the community.

Part-time, Full-time, Relief/Per Diem. 1ST, 2ND, and 3RD shifts available.

Staff to individual ratios: 2:4 or 3:5.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments

What are Community Outings? As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples include:

• The Movies
• Shopping
• Going to Dinner
• Baseball Game
• Bowling

Qualifications
