Job summary

Living Center at Geneva North is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses. The role emphasizes confidentiality, professionalism, and courteous public interaction.

The successful candidate will hold a current NYS Nurse Aide Certification or be in the process of obtaining one, with preferred prior LTC experience. Training and support are provided in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION:
  • Minimum: Must be able to read and write English
  • Preferred: High School degree or GED
• LICENSE:
  • Minimum: Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification
• WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Preferred: Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience
• SKILLS:
  • Minimum: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
