Job summary

Living Center at Geneva South is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide to assist with direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The role requires current NYS Nurse Aide Certification and a commitment to teamwork in a skilled nursing setting.

The position offers day and night rotation with rotational holiday requirements; candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification is required.
• Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience preferred.

• Minimum: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
