This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
