Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• CNA in Tucson area required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, human relations and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; computer literacy and keyboarding skills.
• ECG/EEG interpretation training or course completion required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health and mobility.
• Record vital signs and other measurements; document in medical records.
• Report abnormalities to licensed professional; ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with procedures and use of equipment under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure charting forms are filed and accessible.
• Manage supplies and equipment, including ordering and tracking.
