Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will deliver hands-on resident care in a warm, home-like environment, with part-time evening and night shifts (3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am).

You will assist with activities of daily living, document care, monitor health changes, and provide emotional support. Valid CNA license is required; dementia experience is preferred. We offer benefits and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
