Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Brookfield, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver warm, resident-centered care in a home-like environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, document care, and support residents emotionally while collaborating with the care team.

Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required; prior skilled nursing experience preferred; dementia experience desired; 8 holidays and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Provide courteous, person-centered care to residents.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
