Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. The role focuses on daily living assistance, documentation, and emotional support, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, customer-service-oriented care.

Requirements include a valid CNA license; prior nursing home experience is preferred but not required. Dementia experience is desirable, and the role offers a range of benefits and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Using customer service skills to ensure residents receive quality care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
