Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide attentive care to residents in a warm, home-like environment in East Haven, CT. The role includes night shifts on Sundays/Mondays or Fridays/Saturdays from 11pm to 7am.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and offering emotional support, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• CNA license required or preferred
• Experience with dementia or skilled nursing settings is a plus
• Strong communication and compassionate care skills

Responsibilities

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Sunday and Monday 11pm-7am

or Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
