Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Academy Point at Mystic is hiring a Part-Time CNA for 2nd Shift, 3p-11p, every other weekend. Starting hourly rate is $20.75, with a $1/hour shift differential eligible on the 2nd shift.

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver care in a warm, home-like environment, assisting residents with activities of daily living, documenting care, and reporting changes to staff.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
