Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living relic Crescent Point at Niantic in East Lyme, CT is hiring part-time CNAs for 1st Shift (7a-3p) and 2nd Shift (3p-11p). Starting hourly wages are $20.75, with an additional $1/hour shift differential for the second shift.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will deliver compassionate resident care in a warm, home-like environment, assist with daily living activities, and document care plans for residents. Join our team and help provide meaningful support.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
• Experience working with residents with dementia desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
