Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living’s Putnam Farm in Danvers, MA, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering resident care in a warm, home-like environment, helping with daily living activities, and reporting changes to the care team.

The position offers a competitive $19 per hour and a benefits package including holidays, meal program, paid training, uniforms, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to the care team.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Apply customer service skills to ensure residents receive compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as needed by the care team.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
