Job summary

Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time role in Visalia, CA. You will provide routine daily nursing care to residents under licensed staff guidance and participate in care plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th-grade education required.
  • Current California CNA certification required.
  • CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, repositioning, transferring, and transporting residents.
  • Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Assist residents during meals and monitor food and fluid intake.
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times.
  • Document care provided accurately and timely.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Participate in restorative and rehabilitative programs as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Report accidents, incidents, abuse concerns, or safety hazards immediately.

General Purpose

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans, facility policies, and the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum 10th-grade education required
  • Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • CPR certification preferred
