Job summary

Linwood Meadows Care Center in Visalia, CA is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the full-time PM shift on-site. You will provide routine daily nursing care to residents, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and ensure comfort and safety in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications required: active CA CNA certification; CPR preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; willingness to participate in infection

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervision
• Maintain clean and orderly resident rooms and equipment
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies

Location: Visalia, CA

Shift: PM Shift

Salary Range: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour (BOE)

General Purpose

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining.
• Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for assistance are checked frequently.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervision.
• Maintain resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Report accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediately.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR certification preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds
