Our CNAs play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care in a transitional setting between hospital and home.### **General Purpose**The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining* Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructed* Respond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for assistance are checked frequently* Observe and report changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge Nurse* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed* Provide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervision* Maintain resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly manner* Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times* Report accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediately* Foster a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkers### **Supervisory Responsibilities*** This position has no supervisory responsibilities### **Qualifications****Certificates, Licenses, Registrations*** Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required* CPR certification preferred**Skills & Abilities*** Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills### **Physical Demands*** Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident mobility* May be required to assist during emergency or evacuation situations### **Work Environment*** Skilled Nursing Facility* Noise level generally low to moderate* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions### We are an equal opportunity employer.
