Job summary

Our Lady of Hope in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The role involves assisting senior residents with daily care while maintaining a safe and engaging environment. This position offers full-time or part-time shifts, with a pay range of $20.00 to $24.50 per hour.

The ideal candidates must possess CPR and First Aid certification and preferably have experience in senior care. Candidates will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents every day.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days.
• Experience in senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report incidents or changes in residents’ condition to supervising nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Participate in resident life enrichment programs.
• Interact effectively with residents and family members to address concerns.
• Participate in staff training and other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Overview

The role of our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) is crucial to the life of our community in our Nursing Center. These caregivers assist senior residents with direct care needs while helping to maintain a safe and healthy environment. These caregivers get to know residents on a personal level and will alert management when a resident’s needs change. CNAs must be dedicated, compassionate, and respectful. CNAs are hands‑on caregivers who make a positive difference in the lives of our residents each and every day.
