Job summary

San Joaquin Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our NOC shift team on a part-time basis. The role provides routine daily nursing care to residents in a 99-bed skilled facility, with an emphasis on safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, vital signs, and documentation, while following care plans and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Active CNA license in California and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Answer call lights promptly and ensure residents' needs are met in a timely manner.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with meals and document intake and nutrition.
