Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation in Kirkwood, MO is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team under new ownership. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with daily living activities and helping maintain dignity, safety, and comfort.

We offer night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• BLS/CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read, write, and accurately document resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Assist with feeding and hydration while encouraging resident independence.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms.
• Change bed linens and assist with housekeeping tasks related to resident care.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection prevention and infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and quality of life at all times.

Position Summary
