Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift to join our dedicated nursing team. You'll provide hands-on care, support activities of daily living, and help residents achieve comfort and dignity under licensed supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and personal care
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment
• Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition
• Answer resident call lights quickly and provide compassionate assistance
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Maintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and change bed linens as necessary
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to the licensed nurse
• Document resident care accurately and completely
• Follow infection prevention and infection control policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Promote resident dignity, respect, and quality of life at all times

Position Summary
