Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care plan under the supervision of an RN.

The role requires CNA certification, with high school or GED. Night shifts offer generous differentials, and there are opportunities for advancement and education assistance. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is eligible for qualifying FT/PT staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board or in process within four months; certification provided by facility.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with vital signs, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transfers, ROM, and feeding.
• Document resident interactions and report changes; support wellness and recreation programs.
