Good Samaritan Miller Prairie Center, Miller, SD, is hiring a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shift positions. The role offers 12‑hour shifts with a wage range of $17.00–$25.00 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible.

The NA provides resident-centered care under RN supervision, helps with daily living activities, and documents care while ensuring infection control and safety policies. Opportunities for advancement and a robust benefits package are available.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months of hire.
• Annual continuing education: at least 12 hours.
• UAP Registry where applicable.

Mansioni

• The NA serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of an RN.
• Assists with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
• May participate in wellness and recreational programs and committees as needed.
