Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal nursing care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and supporting patient comfort and safety on a per diem basis.

Strong emphasis on teamwork in a 12-hour shift environment. Requires CNA certification and BLS; phlebotomy, audiometry, and CHDP certifications preferred in CA/HI.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in RN training track.
• BLS certification required by Adventist Health policy.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in CA/HI.
• Audiometry/vision training or CHDP certification preferred in CA/HI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (nutrition, hydration, grooming).
• Take vital signs (pulse, BP) and report to RN.
• Support basic patient needs (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Perform clerical tasks and route patient reports to meet unit needs.
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
