Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care in our Galena, KS skilled nursing community. You will support residents’ daily needs, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, and mobility as needed.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the care team.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents.
• Follow safety procedures and use lifting equipment when required.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
