Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing community in Galena, KS. You will support residents’ physical and emotional needs while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 16 years of age or older required.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and repositioning.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
