Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care in our North Point Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing community in Paola, KS. You will support residents’ daily needs, safety, and well-being in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

The role includes evenings/nights shifts with potential commuter incentives; starting pay is $17/hour. Join a team dedicated to quality care and resident comfort in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, and mobility as needed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
