Job summary

Benedictine Living Community Dickinson offers a paid CNA-NAR training path where you earn while you learn and gain certification as you train.

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will attend Benedictine-sponsored classes, collect data on residents, report changes to the RN or LPN, and communicate with residents, families, and health team members while you qualify for certification and progress in your career.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into Benedictine NA training program.
• Must be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled classes and pass the state-required certification test.
• Collect initial and ongoing data on all residents and report changes to the RN or LPN.
• Communicate and interact with residents, families, and other health team members.
