Job summary

Benedictine is sponsoring CNA-NAR training classes that set you on a path to a long lasting career. As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will be paid while you train and receive certification at no cost.

You will join a nonprofit senior care organization with values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice, and opportunities across the upper Midwest. The program includes a sign-on bonus for full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into a Benedictine NA training program
• Must be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• BLS Certification

• Attend all scheduled CNA-NAR classes and successfully pass state certification
• Collect initial and ongoing data on residents and report changes to the RN/LPN
• Communicate with residents, families, and other health team members

As an associate of Benedictine, you will be given the tools and skills necessary to be successful as a Certified Nursing Assistant. There is no cost for the training and you will get paid and earn a certification while you train.

• The Nursing Assistant Trainee must attend all scheduled classes and successfully pass the state required certification test.
• The Nursing Assistant Trainee will collect initial and ongoing data on all residents and report the condition and changes to the RN or LPN.
• The Nursing Assistant Trainee will communicate and interact with residents, families, and other health team members.
• Must currently be enrolled in and attending a CNA-NAR training program or be hired into a Benedictine NA training program
• Must be eligible to be on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity pending successful completion of training
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• BLS Certification.

Upon successfully completing the Nurse Assistance Training program Benedictine Living Community Dickinson is offering Certified Nursing Assistants a sign-on bonus of $15,000 for full-time employees and $7,500 for part-time employees. The bonus is paid in installments over three years. #BHSDickinson
