Maple Landing Assisted Living in Mapleton, Utah, is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/CNA to assist licensed nursing staff by administering daily medications as ordered.

You will observe for adverse reactions, document changes, and perform med-related tasks while maintaining safe handling of medications according to policies. A CNA certification, Food Handler permit, CPR, and Rocky Mountain Med Tech training are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current/Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be a certified nursing assistant.
• Must have completed Rocky Mountain Med Tech training.
• Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers routine daily oral, inhalation, and topical medications to residents under delegation of a licensed nurse.
• Observes for adverse drug reactions and reports any problems to the nurse.
• Records medication administration according to policies and procedures.
• Follows written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
• Observes residents for changes and documents changes in their condition accordingly.
• Performs tasks related to medication administration, including vital signs and med cart duties.
• Practices safe handling and storage of medications.
• Responds to resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned.
