Job summary

Providence is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Unit at Milwaukie Hospital. The position offers night and day shift openings, requiring 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include assisting RNs, measuring vital signs, and ensuring safe patient mobility.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using safe patient handling devices.

Certified Nursing Assistant – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Milwaukie Hospital

0.9 FTE, night and day shift openings (7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
