Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Unit on a .9 FTE day shift (7am–7:30pm, 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly) with rotating weekends. The CNA will support admissions, discharges, and transfers and help monitor vital signs and patient mobility.

Requirements include Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS. Preferred experience in hospital or long-term care settings. Opportunities for education and a strong benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Seaside Hospital. This posting represents a .9 FTE, DAY shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
