Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the float pool on the day shift (7:00am–7:30pm). This .9 FTE position offers rotating weekends and the chance to work in a high-functioning team within a supportive Providence care culture.

The role requires CNA licensure in Oregon and BLS certification; a minimum of 1 year CNA experience is preferred. Benefits include career development opportunities and more.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
• Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference.
• Other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant– Float PoolUnit atProvidence Milwaukie Hospital. This posting represents a .9 FTE, DAY shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
