Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a float pool unit. This 0.6 FTE, day shift position runs 7am–7:30pm with rotating weekends, supporting admissions, discharges, and transfers under RN supervision.

The role requires Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS (American Heart Association) at hire. Experience in hospital or long‑term care settings is preferred, with opportunities for education and professional growth within Providence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
• Support continuing education and professional development, including CNA conference.

CNA – Float Pool Unit atProvidence Willamette Falls Medical Center.This posting represents a .6 FTE,day shift opening (7am-7:30pm,2, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
