Westminster Lakeland in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Med Tech for our Assisted Living Facility. The role provides routine daily nursing care, supports resident independence, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

Schedule is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 3-11 PM, with every other weekend and rotated holidays. The position emphasizes dignity, customer service, and safe medication administration under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with Florida laws.
• Medical Technician Certification required.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, mobility, toileting).
• Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure beds are made, trash removed.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Take vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly and accurately.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure safety equipment is in place.
• Provide incontinent care and reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
• Assist Activities Dept with resident activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
