Job summary

Westminster Lakeland is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Med Tech for our Assisted Living Facility in Lakeland, FL. You will provide routine nursing care, assist residents with daily living activities, and support medication administration under supervision.

The role emphasizes dignity, customer service, and adherence to federal and state regulations. Schedule is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 3-11 PM, with every-other-weekend and rotated holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with Florida law.
• Medical Technician Certification required.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist with meals and feeding when necessary.
• Take vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in rooms and beds.
• Observe and document patient condition; follow care procedures.
• Provide infection control according to regulations.
• Support Activities Department with resident activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
