Job summary

Hearts To Hands Health Care Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a contract/PRN role on site in Hot Springs, AR. You will assist patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities to support independence.

Responsibilities include transfers, vital signs, meals, ROM exercises, documentation, and clear communication with nurses and therapists. Night shifts are 12 hours, with duties coordinated by the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas CNA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience in rehab, med-surg, or related setting.
• Wamiliar with 12-hour shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting throughout shift.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning for rehabilitation patients.
• Take and record vitals, weight, intake/output, report changes to nurse.
• Support meals, including feeding and tracking intake.
• Encourage range of motion exercises and therapy goals between sessions.
• Keep rooms clean and linens changed as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and update care team.
• Document care provided and any changes in patient condition.
• Communicate patient status to nurses, therapists and other staff.

Hearts To Hands Health Care Staffing is looking for an amazing Certified Nursing Assistant for a contract role at a phenomenal facility in Hot Springs, AR. You will be helping patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness with the daily care and encouragement that moves them toward independence.

Day to day, you will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, assist with transfers and positioning, take vitals, support meals, and help patients keep up with range of motion exercises between therapy sessions. You will also document care, answer call lights promptly, and keep nurses and therapists in the loop on how each patient is doing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting throughout the shift


• Assists patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning, including patients recovering from surgery or working through rehabilitation therapy


• Takes and records vital signs, weight, and intake/output, and reports concerning changes to the nurse


• Supports patients during meals, including feeding assistance and tracking food and fluid intake


• Assists patients with range of motion exercises and encourages follow-through on therapy goals between scheduled sessions


• Keeps patient rooms clean, safe, and organized, including changing bed linens as needed


• Responds to call lights promptly and checks in on patients regularly to identify needs early


• Documents care provided and any changes in patient condition in the medical record


• Communicates patient status and progress to nurses, therapists, and other care team members

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Restocks patient care supplies as needed


• Assists with transporting patients within the facility


• Supports general unit cleanliness and organization outside of direct patient rooms


• Performs other related duties as assigned by nursing leadershi
