Job summary

Hearts To Hands Health Care Staffing is seeking a certified nursing assistant for a contract role in Hot Springs, AR. You will provide hands-on care to patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness, assisting with daily activities and supporting the care team throughout 12-hour night shifts.

Qualified candidates hold an Arkansas CNA certification and BLS, with at least 1 year of related experience; new grads with certification are welcome.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CNA experience in rehab, med-surg, or related setting.
• Current Arkansas CNA certification and BLS certification.
• New graduates with certification in hand are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Takes and records vital signs, weight, and intake/output; reports changes to the nurse.
• Supports patients during meals and tracks intake.
• Assists with range of motion exercises and follow-through on therapy goals.
• Keeps patient rooms clean, safe, and organized; changes bed linens as needed.
• Responds to call lights and checks on patients regularly.
• Documents care provided and changes in patient condition.
• Communicates patient status to nurses and therapists.
