Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved CNA program. Must become certified within 120 days of first day of employment.
• No CNA will be allowed to work independently until they are active on the Direct Care Worker Registry.
• Maintains current BCLS certification.
• At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has been designed to assist in the delivery of basic nursing care to residents under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN.
