Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA, is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Technician (CNA) for full-time overnight shifts.

The role includes basic nursing care, routine cleaning, and restocking of patient areas and supply rooms, with holiday rotation and every other weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved CNA program.
• At least 16 years of age with High School, GED, or equivalent.
• Maintains current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Touch up cleaning of Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and staff lounge.
• Manage inventory control and restocking of patient areas and supply rooms.

Position Summary

The Patient Services Technician is a member of the health care team.

• The PST performs basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• The PST performs touch up cleaning of the Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and the employee lounge.
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, Emergency Room, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station

Minimum Qualifications

Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved certification CNA program.

At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Maintains current BCLS certification.
