Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital, established in Vinton, Iowa, is seeking a capable Acute CNA to provide direct patient care as part of the care team. This full-time first shift role includes holiday rotation and alternating weekends.

The position emphasizes basic nursing tasks, cleanliness of patient areas, and inventory restocking to support efficient hospital operations. CNA certification and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved CNA program.
• At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Maintains current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Performs touch up cleaning of the Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and the employee lounge.
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, Emergency Room, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station.

Position Summary

The Patient Services Technician is a member of the health care team

• The PST performs basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• The PST performs touch up cleaning of the Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and the employee lounge.
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, Emergency Room, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station

Minimum Qualifications
