Qualifications

• Current CNA certification for Long Term Care in Mississippi.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Blood glucose monitoring certification required within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and nutrition.
• Take vital signs, weight, intake/output, and monitor blood glucose.
• Provide safe transfers and support with mobility and devices.
• Document care and observations in the medical record promptly.
• Participate in care planning and training activities.
