Job summary

Methodist Specialty Care Center (MSCC) in Mississippi is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. You will provide direct resident care, support daily living activities, and work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Mississippi CNA license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Collaborate with nurses, respiratory therapists, and others to meet care needs.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.
• Safely assist with transfers and mobility using ceiling lifts.
• Observe changes in residents' conditions and report to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to care plans.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment for residents and families.
