• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, transfers, meals).
• Observe and document health, behavior, and emotional condition; report changes to nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident signals and calls to determine needs.
• Promote safety and infection control; maintain a clean environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Communicate with nurses about resident conditions, changes, and concerns; complete documentation.
