Grand Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate care and support independence for residents in a luxury senior living environment. You’ll participate in daily activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events, ensuring each resident receives personalized and respectful service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• One or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living, highly preferred.
• One or more years of experience working with seniors, highly preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), required as applicable by state and assignment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to enhance the lives of others.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting.
• Support residents in accordance with their personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging atmosphere.
• Participate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events.
• Work collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
• Ensure exceptional documentation is submitted for all services provided or declined.
• Deliver care that is professional, respectful, timely and personalized.
• Help create an environment where every resident feels valued and cared for.
