Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and report changes to nursing staff to support high-quality care in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include attending to safety, infection control, and documentation while delivering companionship and support to residents.

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities (lifting, transfers, bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, meals).
• Observe and document residents' health, behavior and changes; promptly report to the nurse.
• Respond to resident call signals and determine needs promptly and courteously.
• Promote safety and infection control; maintain a clean, safe environment and report unsafe conditions.
