The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is seeking a CNA Manager and Nursing Scheduler to lead CNAs, coordinate staffing, and ensure compliance with long-term care regulations.

This leadership role focuses on staffing optimization, regulatory adherence, and staff development, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to veterans and spouses in a 5-Star, deficiency-free facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Wisconsin CNA license or be willing to obtain one.
• Proven leadership in a healthcare setting, especially long-term care.
• Extensive CNA or caregiving experience with caregiving responsibilities.
• Strong scheduling and staff coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization and communication to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to motivate a team and address operational challenges.
• Familiarity with care plans and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise CNA staff with performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage staffing schedules for all shifts.
• Coordinate with nursing leadership to plan staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and policies.
• Monitor daily operations and address staffing or operational issues.
• Assist in onboarding new CNA staff and provide training on regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to staffing schedules and compliance.
