Kindred Hospital Chicago - Northlake is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and help ensure a clean, safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include taking measurements, aiding in admissions, transfers, and discharges, and responding promptly to patient needs. We welcome applicants with a High School diploma and current nursing assistant certification.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Aufgaben

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Take and record vitals and document promptly.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to call lights and paging systems.
• Perform routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist with restraints under direction of an RN.
• Assist with meals and feeding.
