Kindred Hospital Chicago - Northlake is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in a 94-bed long-term acute care setting. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide emotional support and participate in routine care under RN direction.

Required: Current Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS, and at least six months of acute or long-term care experience. Pay range is $18.00-$22.83 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Assist nursing staff with patient care and daily living activities.
• Support patient comfort, positioning, feeding and hygiene needs.
• Record vital signs and inputs/outputs accurately.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and handling of patient belongings.
• Answer call lights, phone, and paging systems promptly.
• Assist with routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
